Are you quick to size up situations and organizing random adventures singing as you go?Can you pick up a book and keep kids spell bound with curiosity and drama? Would you enjoy playing language/spelling games, swimming, biking, backyard tea parties in a tent, creating landscapes from dough and puppet shows, skating and/or throwing a ball or two? Do you know how to make a sandwich, cook a meal, make cookies or run errands when needed? Is it easy for you to persuade, redirect and stay on task with kids so they learn to clean up after the fun? Well, we need to make a decision, soon. This assignment is not for the faint hearted or timid but only for the independant, imaginative and flamboyant who can easily size up what needs to be done in any one day with its work and play. You have to be an extrovert with creative language skills. (Yes, turning work into play is part of the adventure). You need to be able to watch a clock, be on time to various events, be able to swim, be ready to participate and guide when needed as a responsible and loving member of our family. Fewer hours during the school year could follow. My girls like to invest themselves in people and do not lack in creativity. It is organizing that creativity that is necessary. If you are the right person, you will have a captive audience. You have to be willing to be flexible and laugh, sing and pray through anything and enjoy the "doings" of a family. Camp War Eagle is a Christian Sports and Adventure Camp for Underserved and at Risk kids ages 7-17 in NW Arkansas. About 75% of our 4500 kids get a $2000 experience at no cost (on scholarship). We are looking for college students that Love God first and foremost, Love Kids, Love the outdoors, and Love making a difference in the lives of others!!! Most of our kids come from pretty hard homes and really need a positive role model in their lives and that role model could be you. Pretty amazing!!! We normally hire 450 summer staff from the region. You do get paid and you don’t have to work all summer! Our greatest need is the end of the summer which would be June 29th-Aug. 10th .
